HAND ALIGNMENT

Watch hands are the time indicators for hours, minutes and seconds on your timepiece. However, watches with various complications use hands also to display things like elapse hours, minutes and second usually found on chronographs. Some watches may also use hands to point out military time, day of the week, date of month and month.

A hand alignment is the removal or replacement and synchronization of the various hands on the timepiece.
